Getting Started

1. Grant Permissions

Smart Planner requires access to your Calendar and Reminders to create events and tasks. We only create content when you explicitly request it and never read or share your personal information.

2. Start Typing

Simply type your tasks naturally, for example:

"Meeting tomorrow at 3pm, submit report by Friday, buy milk"
"Gym 3 times next week, dentist appointment Wednesday"
"Important: Submit application tomorrow, buy groceries"

3. Review & Save

AI will parse your input and show you the events and tasks. Review them, select calendars/lists, and tap Save!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why does Smart Planner need Calendar and Reminders access?

A: Smart Planner creates events in your Apple Calendar and tasks in your Reminders app. Without these permissions, the app cannot function. We respect your privacy and only create content when you explicitly request it.

Q: How many free AI parses do I get?

A: Free users get 8 AI parses per month. This resets on the 1st of each month. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited parsing.

Q: What languages are supported?

A: Smart Planner currently supports English and Simplified Chinese (简体中文). The app automatically detects your system language.

Q: Can I input multiple tasks at once?

A: Yes! That's one of Smart Planner's key features. You can input multiple events and tasks in a single sentence, separated by commas or natural breaks.

Q: How do I manage my subscription?

A: Go to Settings → Subscription Management in the app, or manage it through your Apple ID settings: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.

Q: Is my data private and secure?

A: Absolutely. We only process your input to create calendar events and reminders. We don't store, read, or share your personal calendar data. All processing happens securely.

Troubleshooting

App not creating events or reminders?

Check that you've granted Calendar and Reminders permissions
Go to iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars → Enable Smart Planner
Go to iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Reminders → Enable Smart Planner
Restart the app

AI parsing not working?

Check your internet connection
Verify you haven't exceeded your monthly limit (free users: 8 parses/month)
Try rephrasing your input more clearly
