Introduction
Welcome to Smart Planner. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use the app.
03
How we use information
AI parsing, planning and summaries
- Your input and the schedule context required for the requested feature are sent to the DeepSeek API using HTTPS.
- The AI processes the request and returns structured results to your device.
- We do not store your input in an app-operated server database.
Calendar and Reminders
- Events are created directly in Apple Calendar and tasks in Apple Reminders.
- Data remains on your device and in iCloud when enabled.
- The app may later read and update these items to support display, editing, completion, deletion and synchronization.
04
Permissions we request

Calendar access
Used to display, create, edit, delete, synchronize and summarize calendar events.
✓
Reminders access
Used to display, create, edit, complete, delete, synchronize and summarize reminder tasks.
You stay in control. Manage or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Third-party services
AI data notice
When you request AI parsing, planning or a summary, Smart Planner sends data needed for that operation to DeepSeek. You are asked to review and accept this data use before first using AI features.
Data that may be sent to DeepSeek
- Your text input, such as tasks and events you want to create.
- Your preferred language.
- Relevant event and reminder details needed for the requested plan or summary.
Data we do not intentionally send
- Names, email addresses or phone numbers.
- Precise device location or contacts.
- Calendar or reminder data unrelated to the requested AI operation.
How AI request data is protected
- Transmission uses HTTPS encryption.
- We do not permanently store your input on our servers.
- DeepSeek processes data under its own privacy policy. Read DeepSeek's privacy policy.
- You may choose not to use AI features and create items manually.
Apple services and purchases
- Apple stores Calendar and Reminders data and handles iCloud synchronization under your Apple settings.
- Apple processes subscription billing. We do not receive payment details, only subscription status.
- Read Apple's privacy policy.
06
Data security
- Encryption: Data transmitted to the AI API uses HTTPS.
- No app-operated schedule database: We do not maintain a server-side copy of your complete Calendar or Reminders database.
- Local storage: Subscription status and usage counts are stored locally.
- Data minimization: We process only the data needed for the requested feature.
Deleting the app removes local app data. Events and reminders already stored in Apple's apps remain there until you remove them.
